Meet Matt

Matt is a uniquely collaborative writer, director, producer and educator. In 2008 he founded Black Box Studios, now known as Northern NJ’s “incubator” for new and under-produced plays in collaboration with world-class writers and their Estates. The company is now serving as consulting producer on a number of high-profile feature film/theater projects, and the team also brings live performances featuring national music and comedy headliners to select venues in the area. Since 2008, Black Box Studios has nurtured the talents of kids, teens, and adults in a variety of long-running evening workshops and in-school performing arts programs throughout Bergen County and beyond.
