In New York, Matt is currently directing the new play Annabel's Sister by George Kolber, the writer/producer of the 2023 feature film 'Miranda's Victim' that features Donald Sutherland, Abigail Breslin, Luke Wilson, Andy Garcia, Ryan Phillippe, Kyle MacLachlan, Dan Lauria, Michael Mulheren, John Buffalo Mailer, and many more. A highly energetic and ensemble-based retelling of the story, Annabel's Sister is a 1960's historical drama about "the rape that changed America" and the resulting U.S. Supreme Court decision that gave us the Miranda Rights. It's a unique and timely piece stylistically inspired by shows such as Come From Away, The Elephant Man, How I Learned to Drive, A Few Good Men, and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.
